मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का स्थलीय निरीक्षण कर रहे हैं। थानों मार्ग पर क्षतिग्रस्त पुल का निरीक्षण करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि आवागमन को सुचारू करने के लिए शीघ्र वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था की जाए।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में प्रशासन एवं एसडीआरएफ की टीमें निरंतर राहत एवं बचाव कार्यों के साथ ही अन्य व्यवस्थाएं कर रही हैं। विधायकगण अपने क्षेत्रों में हर स्थिति पर निगरानी कर रहे हैं। सेना से भी संपर्क में हैं। अगर हेलीकॉप्टर की अवश्यकता पड़ी तो सेना से भी मदद ली जाएगी। स्टेट के हेलीकॉप्टर को भी आपदा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों के लिए अलर्ट मोड पर रखा गया है।
निरीक्षण के दौरान विधायक उमेश शर्मा काऊ एवं गढ़वाल कमिश्नर सुशील कुमार भी मौजूद रहे।
