भाजपा नेता अगर अपने मुख्यमंत्री की सराहना करें तो बनता है, मगर विपक्ष कांग्रेस के दिग्गज पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत और पूर्व नेता प्रतिपक्ष प्रीतम सिंह भी मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंंह धामी की तारीफ में कुछ कहें तो मानना पड़ेगा कि सबसे युवा मुख्यमंत्री होने के बावजूद पुष्कर कुछ तो धमाल कर रहे हैं।
धामी ने इस बार एक पहल की, उन्होंने सभी विधायकों से अपने विधानसभा क्षेत्रों की शीर्ष 10 प्राथमिकताओं वाली विकास योजनाओं की जानकारी मांगी है। यह इसलिए, ताकि जनता की उम्मीदों और अपेक्षाओं को सरकार पूरा कर सके।
सभी विधायक, मतलब अपनी पार्टी के अलावा कांग्रेस, बसपा व निर्दलीय 23 विधायक भी इस सूची में शामिल हैं। संदेश साफ है कि मुख्यमंत्री की नजरों में पूरे प्रदेश का विकास महत्वपूर्ण है, न कि दलगत राजनीति। इस पर पूर्व नेता प्रतिपक्ष प्रीतम सिंह ने इसका स्वागत किया। हरीश रावत तो इससे पहले भी धामी के निर्णयों को सराह चुके हैं।

पूर्व मंत्री हरक सिंह रावत जब से कांग्रेस में लौटे हैं, चुप्पी साधे हैं। पिछली चार विधानसभाओं में सत्ता किसी की भी रही, इनके पास अहम ओहदा रहा। सत्ता में रहे तो मंत्री और विपक्ष में रहे तो नेता विपक्ष। यह पहला अवसर है जब हरक विधायक नहीं हैं, लेकिन हनक बरकरार है।
हाल में एक कार्यक्रम में शहरी विकास मंत्री प्रेम चंद अग्रवाल से इनका सामना हुआ। प्रेम चंद विधानसभा भर्तियों को लेकर विपक्ष के निशाने पर हैं, तो हरक ने मौका ताड़ सवाल कर डाला कि आप कब इस्तीफा दे रहे हैं। हरक आगे बोले कि जब वह मंत्री थे तो उन्होंने नैतिकता के आधार पर त्यागपत्र दे दिया था।
असल में राज्य की पहली सरकार में हरक को मंत्री पद छोडऩा पड़ा था। अब प्रेम लपके और बोले, आपने तो जैनी प्रकरण के कारण इस्तीफा दिया था। आप स्वयं आकलन कर लीजिए, इनमें कौन किस पर भारी।

उत्साह का आलम यह कि इन्हें खुद भी मालूम नहीं होता कि कब यह अति उत्साह में तब्दील हो गया। तीन दिन पहले की बात है, राजधानी देहरादून के नजदीक इन्होंने एक नए-नए डिग्री कालेज में शौर्य दीवार की स्थापना की। शौर्य दीवार देश के वीर जवानों के साहस और वीरता की प्रतीक है, ताकि विद्यार्थी इनसे प्रेरणा ले सकें। अब यह अलग बात है कि जिस महाविद्यालय में शौर्य दीवार स्थापित की गई, उसके पास अभी न अपनी भूमि है और न भवन।
